Victoria is the unofficial State of International Students. Here, people from all corners of the globe live, learn, work and vibe together. It’s a vibrant mix of cultures, ideas, and late-night study sessions fuelled by great coffee and even better conversations. This everyday harmony is proof that inclusivity is already thriving.

That’s why our mural, Peace in Bloom, is blooming with meaning. We’ve picked the national flowers of the top ten countries with the most international students in Victoria. Why flowers? They’re nature’s ambassadors of goodwill—quietly powerful, beautifully unifying. Our mural is designed to bring nature inside and turn a plain wall into a blooming statement of unity.

The Golden Wattle bursts into bright yellow flowers around September, which is why National Wattle Day is celebrated on September 1st. The wattle is so iconic that its colours—green and gold—inspired Australia's national sports colours. So, when Aussies cheer on their teams, they're basically waving a field of flowers!
